When, where, how the body was found
Xin Zhui is most commonly referred to as Lady Dai, China’s Sleeping Beauty and the Diva Mummy. Her tomb was found in the early 1970’s situated in the Mawangdui, a hill in Changsha which is the capital of the Hunan province in China. There was two other tombs in Mawangdui one was Lady Dai’s husband Li Cang and the other was of a male in his 30's. Her tomb and over 1000 artifacts were discovered by workers who were constructing air raid shelters for the cold war.
